After four months of unsuccessful job searching in the US, I'm ready to call it quits.
What are the conditions like for Israeli nurses? How hard is it to find work?

finding work is easy, all the hospitals are hiring (except Bikur Cholim which I would not recommend), getting your license to work here has been discussed previously. You can ask Nefesh Be Nefesh for help on that

Oh, and did we mention the most important thing? It's a mitzvah to live in Israel. Even on breaks or lunch, you'll be doing a mitzvah just sitting there! Doesn't get better than that. ;D
What does your husband say about it? I know there are homes that follow the wife's career (ours has been one the last 10 years); but it is obviously a big joint commitment to make it work.
