We are extraordinarily privileged to do such hesed for Hashem's children. Today we flew a young mother from a small city as a high-risk OB patient for continued care in a major hospital. She didn't need much in the way of fancy medical or nursing care. But she was scared, and nervous, and worried. We brought her to a hospital that can better care for her and her baby if (when) indeed born premature. We kept her safe and reassured along the way. And you could see the improvement in her attitude by the time we dropped her off at the 'big' hospital. We are truly privileged for the everyday opportunities that nursing gives us. Every day we should daven for compassion and success before work, and we should thank Hashem for the privilege at the end of the day.

Thank you, beautiful message and Kol HaKavod on your work, not just a chessed, but a kiddish Hashem as well. As we know "attitude" is important in the healing process. Nervous, worried and scared patients are more likely to develop complications, and delay healing or in your case delay positive outcomes. Keep up the good work and try not to become "jaded"!!
