I'm looking into this now. I've spoken to someone at Arizona University (or something! ) and that will be a total of about 10,000 in tuition. Is this expensive? Has anyone heard of another program which is good?

I'm starting back this Jan. I looked into a few local programs & online options and the ones I rejected were running at $14K and above (the one that was close to $20K was an online program).
In the end I'm going to try to do the BSN completion at a local state university which should run me about $6K (does not include texts, but still less expensive). $10K is a lot, but it may be worth it if it works best with your schedule and yomim tovim.

If you work for a hospital, check and see what programs they are affiliated with or what tuition reimbursement programs they have. It's become pretty standard. Where I work, they will pay for 9 hours a year toward a higher degree (BSN or MSN) but the affiliated nursing school has a program for BSN completion that costs.....wait for it..... a $50 enrollment fee. The rest is free.

Does anyone know anything about Thomas Edison State College? It also has an online program. It's a bit cheaper than the other programs. Does it matter once I have my BSN? I'd also love to know where Chava works, since I am still unmarried, I have some flexibility. I need a program that isn't expensive.

I work for Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis MO. If you don't mind being in MO, it's a great deal (and yes, there is a nice community here too).

Oh and yes, they have openings. If you apply, tell them I sent you. I've never gotten that "refer a nurse" bonus...yet!

We too have openings here in Yerushalayim, but the only "refer a nurse" bonus I will get will have to come from Hashem!
