I need a RN position that respects shomer shabbos

I applied to a RN position in Brooklyn in a Jewish Hospital and I was told that I wouldn't be able to get a job because I was shomer shabbos and the manager in the floor needed nurse in the weekends and could not accomodate my needs. I am currently working at a center and I never told them I was in the process of converting to Judaism, but know since its the summer is not bad getting out at 430 pm and being off the weekend. But eventually I want to be able to take fridays off. Get this I had email my supervisor and told her the minute there was a 12 hr or 10 hr shift to please give it to me. During the time I was on disability for 2 months because of a car accident I had two new nurses where hired about 6 weeks ago and they were given 10 hr shift. I started working at this facility on 11/2010. I am part of 1199 union and I am going to bring this to the attention if the union because obviously I am more senior then them and should be given this position. Good thing I sent her an email.
