The wildfire raging in north Israel is the worst in history. 42 known dead, about 15,000 evacuated from their homes. Hai Bar nature preserve is destroyed. The fires continue. Please ask your friends to daven for the families. Last night our learning in the beit midrash was for the ascent of the souls of the officers and staff killed on their way to evacuate a prison.
