Can you elaborate? What kind of scholarship are you looking for? RN-BSN? Grad school?
When we were in school the administration kept forwarding to us applications for different nursing scholarships. Unfortunately, except for one big one (which I didn't get) I didn't apply to any of them. I just didn't think I had a good chance. I have learned later though that many people have the same idea and these scholarships have few applicants! So it's worth it to make the effort to apply.

For those willing to make the commitment, there is always 'loan for service'. You have to serve an underserved population for a number of years after school, in return for debt repayment. Of course, most of these populations are not in Jewishly developed areas. Zuni Pueblo, anyone?

I have a BSN and I am considering pursuing my masters in either Family NP, Women's Health NP or Nurse Midwifery.

Actually Chayan gave you a great idea, call nursing schools and ask about scholarships. Perhaps Chayan can suggest the school she went to. Or call the school of your dreams and explain your ambition and need for fin. assistance- whats available? Good luck!

After I was denied the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation scholarship it kind of turned me off from applying for others... I just felt that given the criteria, I should have qualified, more than those who actually did get it.
