I come across as a very strong person, as a result people are turning to me.
The really mean woman in my group, Nominated me to be president. I was so in shock that I said I guess, until I realized it was a lot to do. B"H someone stepped in a did it for me, but then my professor gave me a dirty look for "passing the buck" so to speak.
I just feel like now my professor is looking down on me, and I am really not that strong. I just shield well.
"sigh" I hope this mean one is gone soon, she stresses me and reaks of smoke.
I am happy to have gotten a 90 on my first quiz and 85 on first exam.

President of what? Class president?
I think it's fully understandable for a nursing student with children to want to take a pass on added responsibilities and nobody should "look down" on you as a result. As to your professor looking down on you, maybe that's only your perception? If she/he actually is, then now is the time to be strong and let it slide off your back--you did nothing wrong and you made the right decision for you.

I agree with Chaya, maybe your interpreting something in the look. you're plate is full, you owe nothing to the class than being a terrific student and keeping your home life calm and supportive. Like water off a ducks back, let it slide and concentrate on your studies. Besides if this is the reaction for not being Pres, imagine what life would be if you disappointed her as Pres!!!
