Local student bulletin boards. The student bookshop on a campus often has used texts. Ebay? Newer texts can be cheaper at half.com. Are you going back to school?

Yeh, definitely check half.com and also bookfinder.com
As an aside, for sefarim, my husband is addicted to JewishUsedBooks.com
He checks it quiet often for new products posted. Needless to say our Bayit is quickly being mimaleh with sefarim! (How's that for some Hebrish for you?)

Thanks loads, BTW. Riv, I understand why your DH checks for books quietly...so you dont catch him!! :-) just kidding, I know you meant "quite"... but know that if you overfill the bookcase it will sag and eventually the floor will sag under the weight, I know pple who had to reinforce their floors rather than be mevater on the books..we are truly the people of the book !!!!

lol. yes that was a typo that really showed the inner meaning of what I was saying. You know, we shop online often, but it's mostly for sefarim, as mentioned. Today a package came to the door and I wondered aloud, what could it be? My mother replied, what do you think it is? sefarim from Jewish Used Books, of course. She was right.
I want to be 100% clear, I am not complaining. I am thrilled that my husband buys sefarim and nothing else that I don't even need to list. You can all use your imaginations.
We will end up buying a new bookshelf sooner rather than later, I think. ;-)
