I am starting graduate school tomorrow night. Any tips on finding scholarships/ getting money to help for tuition? Also, how do I stop paying my student loans from undergrad?

yeh, my current employer promises me $2000 a year. actually, I plan on attempting to apply for that tomorrow at work. I searched online for scholarships, but many don't fit my profile. I am Caucasian. ;-)

Check with the financial aid office of the school you are applying to. The nursing school I went to actually supplied me with a list of scholarships that previous students had applied for and received. No need to reinvent the wheel. I was awarded a number of them. The local Jewish federation also had a scholarship for Jewish nursing students. They only had something like 3 applicants - nursing isn't such a "hot field" for most Jews.
(I assure you I'm quite Caucasian and had no problem getting scholarships).

Rivka P - you have to contact Sallie Mae (where I assume you have your loans) and get the paperwork to have your loans put in deferral. I think you can get the info from their website.

I meant to get your loans in deferral so that you don't have to repay while you are in school!
